The Swiss Army Romance is the studio debut album by American band Dashboard Confessional, released in March 2000 by Fiddler Records.

Release
It was released via Fiddler Records in March 2000, limited to 1,000 copies. The decision was made shortly thereafter to sell the album to Drive-Thru Records. Drive-Thru released the album on November 14, 2000. In 2003, the rights to the recording were sold to Chris Carrabba and Vagrant Records and the album was reissued on April 22, 2003. The re-release included the song "Hold On" and "It's Counterfeit ". The relinquishment was triggered by the increasing popularity of the band and the upcoming album announcement A Mark, Mission, Brands, Scars .
