Burn Notification

In the summer of 2006, Matt Nix created Burning Notice , a TV series whose title refers to fire notices issued by intelligence agencies, which discredit or announce the dismissal of an agent or source. The television series follows Michael Westen's agent (played by Jeffrey Donovan), who is abandoned by all normal intelligence contacts. Not knowing why he was "burned", he started working as a spy and freelance investigator when he tried to figure out what happened.

The series airs on the USA Network on Thursday, June 28, 2007. It stars Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona Glenanne (Westen's "ex-boyfriends spouse"), Bruce Campbell as Sam Ax (an old friend who "used to tell" Westen to the Bureau Federal Investigation ", Sharon Gless as Madeline Westen (Michael's mother), and in the four seasons Coby Bell as Jesse Porter (Westen spy deliberately burned.) During his fourth season production in early 2010, it was announced that the series had been updated for two more seasons.

In the last episode, Nix has a cameo appearance as a news reporter. He also has a cameo voice on the pilot, because he is the voice that says "We have a burn notification on you. You are blacklisted." - which then appears in the opening sequence of each episode. This series ends on September 12, 2013. Between four and five seasons, the Burn Burning Notice Burning Notice: The Fall of Sam Ax , airs on the USA Network. Written and produced by Nix by the executive, the film portrays the final mission of Sam Ax's character as a US Navy SEAL.

The Good Guys

In early 2010, Nix began working on The Good Guys, a series premiered on Fox on May 19, 2010. The series stars Bradley Whitford as Dan Stark, a former big-shot whisker with Dallas Police Department, and Colin Hanks as Jack Bailey, an ambitious young detective, who had been appointed as Dan's partner because of his rude attitude.

The Good Guys originally known as the work titles Jack and Dan . For several months, this series was known as Code 58, Dallas Police Department's code for "routine investigation," and then briefly as The Five Eight before the manufacturer settled in The Good Guys title. The show is struggling with low ratings, regularly ranking in fourth place for timeslot during the summer and then fifth place from October onwards. The last episode into the air was aired December 10, 2010, on Fox.

On December 15, 2010, Fox Television Studios, the production company for the show, informed the Dallas Film Commission that the show would not be updated for the second season.
