Alona Tal (Hebrew: ?????? ?, IPA: Ã, < span title = "Representation in International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)"> [a'lona 'tal] born October 20, 1983) is an Israeli singer and actress. He is known for his role in Veronica Mars as cheerleader Meg Manning and Supernatural as Jo Harvelle.

Tal was born and raised in Herzliya, Israel. He is a Jew and describes himself as a "spiritual person". Her father Ami Tal is a Jewish Turkish-Turkish computer professional, whose real name is Mizrahi. His mother, Ayala (nÃÆ' Â © e Sabbath) is a lawyer. Both his parents were born in Israel.

Careers
Tal began his career after leaving the Israeli Defense Forces, with a children's music video tape where he played a wicked wizard. After that, she appeared in an advertisement for detergent, and later appeared in the lead role in the Israeli film Lihiyot Kochav ( Be a Star) .
During the filming, Tal was offered two roles in two different Israeli television shows, and he took both. The first is a soap opera called Tzimerim, about family life running the hotel; the second is HaPijamot ( The Pyjamas ), a sitcom about a band struggling to make it in the real world. She takes part in the first three seasons and then takes part as a guest star who gives her the opportunity to show her musical talent. Although he was the main character only in the first three seasons, he appeared in the fourth season for several episodes.
Tal also appeared in music video for the Final Warning, by Skylar Gray.
Tal moved to New York City, where he met singer Wyclef Jean and recorded songs with him (the song "Party to Damascus" had Tal chanting Hebrew choruses).
Tal landed a role on Veronica Mars, that Meg Manning, one of the few friends of Veronica Mars. He also played the recurrent role of Jo Harvelle in the second, fifth, and seventh seasons of the Supernatural. Tal also guested in the last series of Monks as Adrian Monk's stepchild, Molly Evans. In 2010, he performed the voice of Catherine-B320 (also known as Kat) in the video game Halo: Reach. In 2013, she starred in the mystery series Cult . He plays the role of "Sonya" in the seventh and final season of Burning Notice .
Personal life
On March 23, 2005, Tal was married to actor Marcos Ferraez. Tal announced on October 23, 2016, in the Supernatural panel that he was expecting his first child. She celebrated her pregnancy with a baby shower on January 29, 2017. Guests included fellow Israeli actresses Gal Gadot and Noa Tishby. She gave birth to a daughter in March 2017.
