Timothy "Mozzy" Patterson is an American hip hop artist from Oak Park, Sacramento, California who works with Real Talk Entertainment, Empire Distribution, Blackmarket Records and Livewire Entertainment.
Mozzy began tapping in 2004 under the name of Lil 'Tim, before changing his stage name to Mozzy in 2012. He received little notice until the 2015 album Bladadah was ranked 22nd best rap album of 2015 by Rolling Stone and who gave it "best run" in 2015 according to Complex Magazine.

Careers
Mozzy first starts knocking at the age of 11 with his uncle Genaro "GP the Beast" Patterson, who will then collaborate with the likes of Suge Knight and others on the 2004 Forath Gowsta 'For Radio compilation album Death Row.
Lil 'Team
In 2010, under the stage name of "Lil Team", Mozzy released a single titled "U Is not Really Like 'Dat", releasing his first music as a full-time musician. On 2 August 2016, Mozzy released Lil 'Timothy N Thingz, a collection of songs recorded in 2008 while he was still known as "Lil' Team".
Collaboration
Mozzy's first collaboration was with an industry executive, DJ Fresh, who produced the Mozzy 2013 album The Tonite Show . On Mozzy's third solo album, Goonbody Embodiment , he collaborated with Oakland rapper Philthy Rich, on the "I'm Just Being Honest" track, which caused long-standing controversy. In December, rapper Compton YG released a single titled "City Mad" featuring Mozzy and the associate "Slim 400" leading to the release of his album, Still Krazy. In 2016, Vallejo's prisoner, Nef the Pharaoh, released the album "Neffy Got Wings", featuring a song with Mozzy named "Devil's Team".
Solo solo
Mozzy's solo album, such as Bladadah , was his greatest success. She released her first solo album in 2011 under the title of Money Means Mozzy and has released 10 more albums by 2016. By 2015, Mozzy is recognized by Complex magazine for having "run" best of 2015 ", and by Rolling Stone because it has the 22nd best rap album of 2015.
In 2016, Mozzy moved from Sacramento to Los Angeles, California and released the album Gang Related Siblings , featuring fellow original producers Oak Park and Mozzy June.

Mozzy grew up on 4th Avenue, in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. Mother Mozzy is a cocaine addict and her father is locked up, so she was raised by her grandmother Brenda Patterson-Usher, member of the Black Panther party, who owns several houses in Oak Park. Mozzy attended Sacramento High School, but eventually dropped out of school and grabbed the GED. He worked various local jobs until he decided to pursue his full-time music career in 2010.

Lavish beef
In March 2014, Mozzy released a song titled "I'm Just Been Honest" which sparked feud with local rapper Lavish D. However, there has been a continuous funk, which started at Meadowview and G Parkway in Sacramento, which put Tim Guttah and Starz against Oak Park gangs like Fab and Stunnah Gang. It started with an ambush by the gang "Starzup" Lavish D on March 15 from Mozzy's colleagues from Oak Park at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. Eight shootings followed, to which the Sacramento Police Department found linked to the original incident between the two gangs.
Legal issues
Between 2005 and 2008, Mozzy was arrested three times by the Sacramento Police for possession of crimes, including possession of illegal firearms and evasion from the police. He was arrested again in 2014, and served a sentence at San Quentin State Prison, where his cousin and his colleague E Mozzy released the album Free Mozzy . After leaving the prison, Mozzy decided to focus solely on his music, releasing four solo albums in 2015. Despite accepting offers to appear across the country and around the world, Mozzy was unable to leave the state of California until 2017 because he was on probation.
