Kiss Him, Not Me , known in Japan as Watashi ga Motete D? sunda (Japanese: ?????????? , Hepburn: What is Point of Me Being Popular? ) , is a Japanese romantic comedy sh? jo manga series written and illustrated by Junko. It's published by Kodansha since 2013 at Bessatsu Friend magazine. The fourteen volume chapters have been released so far. It is published online in English by Crunchyroll and the volume will be published by Kodansha USA. Adaptation of audio drama of the first chapter was released on January 13, 2015. Anime adaptation by Brain Base aired in Japan between October and December 2016. Manga won Best Sh? Jo Manga at the 40th Kodansha Manga Award.

Plot
The original manga by Junko began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine from May 2013. The series has been compiled into fourteen tank-bon volumes on March 13, 2018. Crunchyroll began releasing online manga as it was published from September 5th 2014, held a contest to determine the official English title of the series. Kodansha Comics began publishing a physical edition in English from October 13, 2015.

Anime
An anime television adaptation of the manga was announced in the April 2016 magazine edition of "Bessatsu Friend ". Brain's Base produces anime, with Hiroshi Ishiodori directing, Michiko Yokote handling the composition of the series and Kazuhiko Tamura designing the characters. The series airs in Japan between October 6, 2016 and December 22, 2016 and is broadcast by Crunchyroll, and Funimation flows an English rank. The opening theme is "PrinceÃÆ' â €" Prince "by From4to7 (Y? Ki Ono, Keisuke Koumoto, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Nobunaga Shimazaki), while the closing theme is" Dokidoki no Kaze " ( ?????? , Heart-beating wind ) by Rie Murakawa. Anime Limited has licensed this series in the UK.

Volume 3 of the manga reached the 44th place on the Oricon weekly manga chart and, on June 15, 2014, has sold 17,994 copies; volume 4 reached the 43rd place and, on September 14, 2014, has sold 22,107 copies; volume 5 reached 17th place and, on January 18, 2015, it has sold 41,112 copies.
Manga won Best Sh? Jo Manga at the 40th Kodansha Manga Award. It's number four in 2015 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 20 Manga Survey for Women Readers.
