John Pyper-Ferguson (born February 27, 1964) is a Canadian-born Canadian actor. He has appeared in various movies and television shows. His famous works include playing Sonny Hamilton at Hamilton's Quest, Peter Hutter at The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. , and Joe Whedon at Brothers & amp; Sister . She also plays Tomas Vergis in the television science fiction drama series Caprica, and currently appears as Tex on TNT's The Last Ship television series, as well as Jack Soloff at USA Network's television series < i> Settings .
