Henry Munroe (ca 1727 - ca 1782) was a Scottish-born soldier and political figure in Nova Scotia. He represented the township of Granville in the Nova Scotia House of Representatives from 1765 to 1768. His family name also appeared as Munro .

Rev. Munro was the minister of Halkirk from 1704 until his death in 1743. Henry Munroe was born in Cromarty and joined the 77th Leg, (Montgomery's Highlanders) raised in Argyleshire to serve against France in North America. Henry's brother, Sir George Gunn Munro, m. Mary Hinde and Mary (Molly) Poyntz married a license at Chapel Royal, St. James 1747. The license shows Mary Poyntz is 25 years old in 1747. She was born in 1722 and died in 1785. George Hinde is a merchant agent in Jamaica for the firm of Augustus and the Boyd of London. He died July 1, 1756.
