Morgan v Fry [1968] 2 QB 710 is a case of labor law in England, about the right to strike at common law.

The Port of London Authority negotiates with one union. Morgan, a locksmith, is a breakaway member of the union. The first union threatens to attack unless the breakaway member of the union is dismissed, Fry for that reason is a real threat to industrial peace. He does not mean for anyone to be specifically dismissed. Morgan was dismissed for threats, and demanded intimidation and conspiracy.

Mr. Denning MR holds that if the proper notice, the length of time to terminate the contract, is given then the strike is lawful, and since the strike is legitimate there is no tort of intimidation. The honest defendants' beliefs that they are acting in the interests of the union negate conspiracy allegations.
