Marc Lawrence (born October 22, 1959) is a screenwriter, film producer and director of American film. He has made several films with Sandra Bullock and with Hugh Grant.

Careers
In 1981, he graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in English and later served as a staff writer, and then supervised the producer, at NBC's Family Ties . Lawrence has written films such as Life with Mikey (1993), Forces of Nature (1999), remake of The Out-of-Towners (1999 ), Miss Congeniality (2000), and the sequel Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005). He has written and directed Two Weeks of Notification (2002), Music and Lyrics (2007), Are You Hearing About Morgans? (2009)), Write Back (2014), and Noelle .
"I'm a big fan of Marc Lawrence," Quentin Tarantino said in an interview with The Sunday Times, adding, "He has the perfect top man." Tarantino mentioned Rewrite and Two Week Notifications as the movie she liked; both have actor Hugh Grant as the leader.
