Jack Stanley (1885 - 2 April 1957) was a British trade union leader.

Born in Liverpool, Stanley grew up in Salford. He works in metal casting and joins the United Society of Boilermakers and Iron and Steel Shipbuilders. In 1922, he was transferred to the British Iron, Steel and Kindred Trades Association (BISAKTA), and was elected secretary of his Manchester branch the following year.

In BISAKTA, steel readers feel that they must have different sections. Stanley worked with George House to form this, the Society for Constructive Engineering, and became a full-time Northern organizer. The Society grew rapidly, and became independent in 1930. Stanley succeeded the House as secretary general in 1939.

Stanley is known as a left-wing activist. He was a board member of the Employment Publishing Society, which launched the Socialist Guild in 1949, and published the Socialist Outlook , a newspaper related to Gerry Healy. Under his leadership, the union affiliated with the Colonial Freedom Movement,

Stanley announced that he would retire in May 1957, but he died before he could do so.
